Third Annual Geckofest Pubcrawl
This Saturday hit over 10 different bars between Gulfport and St. Pete Beach. Tickets are a $25 donation, which includes beverages, available at Gulfport on the Rocks, the Outpost and Swigwam (Corey Ave.). The hike starts promtly at Noon. See the flyer.
Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament for Clean Water presented by Surfrider Foundation
This Saturday at Ferg’s (1320 Central Ave) is a Hold ‘em tournament for clean water thrown by the Suncoast Surfrider Foundation. First place is a weekend for two at Postcard Inn- the premier St Pete Beach Hotel for surfers- with other prizes for the first 8 slots to be announced (gift certificates, vacation packages, etc.). Proceeds will go directly to Suncoast Chapter Surfrider Foundation who are then donating 50% to a charitable organization helping oiled animals and the other 50% towards water testing kits and other chapter needs.
