Things To Do
Make The Most Of Your Stay
There’s plenty to do in St. Pete Beach but if you’ve got a case of wanderlust, you’ll find lots to keep you entertained in nearby St. Petersburg and Clearwater. We’ll start with a few of our personal favorites.
The colorful, sculptural works of Dale Chihuly brighten up museums around the world. Now you can head to the Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg to see a permanent collection of the master glass sculptor’s breathtaking pieces.
Spanning four acres in downtown St. Petersburg, the century-old Sunken Gardens is home to more than flamingos, dense tropical foliage (50,000+ tropical plants!) and fairytale spots for lingering amid the botanical beauty.
If you love a good sunset (and who doesn’t?), head to Pier 60 in Clearwater for a sunset celebration complete with street performers, musicians and nibbles.
Armed Forces History Museum
Located in nearby Largo, this award-winning museum takes military history buffs on a journey through Pearl Harbor, the South Pacific and Germany.
